Ive found the best way to view tunnels is in the Deployments view. The blank white layout in this view clearly shows the tunnels. Give it a try, it works wonders for me :D

What about the ability for guards of chef to do an inventory check? If there are items missing this could automatically start a cell shakedown. Also if a shakedown is started because of missing cutlery from kitchen or tools from workshop, once guards recover the contraband from an individual prisone...

My shower block is similar to yours. Only difference is that I have placed a grate on floor directly underneath each shower head as well as one in the door entrance. Mine never floods :-)

Do you have deployment and prison labour researched, and do you have prisoners assigned under deployment tab? I have had the same problem specifically with the laundry. Prisoners were workimg everywhere else but the laundry. I manually disposed of some of the new uniforms from the end of each cell bed by clicking om each one. This seemed to fix the issue as the laundry is back up and running.

limit the amount of tunnelling per day

I like the idea of tunnels, but they sprout up too frequently in my opinion, and they can tunnel out way too quickly. I would prefer it if there was a limit of a couple of squares tunnelling per night. I am having to shake down my whole cell block evey night just to keep on top of the tunnels.
