How do you get your workshop presses and saws to be placed properly? Mine always get placed in the wrong places, and move about when being used. Plus deconstruct them sometimes make them unusable. Best as I can tell, this is due to two things. The first is due to rotation- if you try to rotate your...

Personally my design for cell blocks is under revision, as the Alpha 13 requirements for cells means you can't add a 1x1 Shower to a Cell without it becoming invalid (the Cell no longer counts as being enclosed); however, my most recent version was arranged into a 65x21 building, separated into four...

Inverse Reward System
I was just idly observing something- perhaps others have as well or would like to debate it. It seems as if the game as an inverse reward system built into it, by virtue of the way it handles needs and prison sentences. Your average minimum security prisoner is slow to build up needs, and on top of ...

Rydan my first cells had that setup, and it flooded. That led to me next using an L shaped drain pattern, and then the current double drain. If I remember right it's good to have a Shower section of your regime simply because the Shower portion is when prisoners will swap out clothing (though they s...

So, in a 4x2 block, they have it all: bed, shower, toilet, television and phone. Until now, everything worked just fine. Interesting- I was hesitant to put the tv in a place the water could reach, out of fear it would cause problems with electrical shorts. But I guess that works out just fine. That...

My basic cell is a bit different- but then, I'm pretty sure I'm building something closer to a very strict vocational school than a prison. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii7/stormcaller3801/Prison%20Architect/Cell.png Yup- showerhead, toilet bed, tv, phone booth, these cells are like a really c...
