Re: Alpha 17 rumors/expectations

I would love it if multiple laundries worked correctly. Even though I believe in Alpha 16 Chris said multiple laundries now "work" I still have the issue of all my baskets ending up in one of my laundry facilities. My other biggest gripe is that there is not enough of a wild card factor. I...

Re: Is Alpha 14 coming today ?

my 2 cents - I was looking forward to hopefully playing alpha 14 over the weekend, I had some freetime allocated to dive in. Not saying that I'm aggrivated or peeved, but I like to jump in as soon as possible. Perhaps a 5 sec quick tweet from Chris could do the trick saying that it is coming next we...

setting policies suggestion

policies adds some sweet additions with alpha 13 :) one suggestion is to have something added to policies ie when a prisoner sets off the metal detector. quite often the prisoner makes it back to his cell and hides whatever he has before the guard searches him. Possibly add an option to search cell ...

how much sleep do prisoners really need?

I was watching the prisoners needs in real time while they were sleeping. It seems like their sleep need is quenched after 2-3 hours of sleeping. I did a couple trial days giving the inmates 3 hours sleep and leaned on their workshop duties with no real issues. This must be a bug?

found a bug workaround...

have you ever had the issue where inmates seem to be "stuck" hanging around the canteen after eating? They have needs that need to be met but still wont leave -- It seems like whenever you have freetime directly after eating many inmates stick around chillin on the benches, even if they do...

It seems wrong to just make just holding cells, especially for max security. As long as I put all the comfort necessities in the holding cell there is no disadvantage to doing that? Either I am missing something, or this doesnt seem realistic.

Any advantage to a normal prison cell vs a holding cell?

Alo! Awesome game - although I had some questions - spefically about holding cells vs regular cells. I have noticed that you can house high security prisoners in holding cells (vs regular cells) for a fraction of the cost with no noticable penalty. It takes less space, no need for dividing walls etc...
