Bomber turning around in place
Every so ofthen, having a lot of bombers make tight turns, I have this one bomber turning around in place, with no radius. WzdlIxt5ong AFAIK there's nothing special in how I order the one - always just the one - randomly goes haywire :) Have you seen someone else's go like this in an online game? Mi...

☆ Game Recording Websites ☆ ⋅ VSj Recordings Old links to VSj's 1v1 - EUvsRU random recordings should work again. They were broken for a while even after the server and the website came back. Sorry about that. The statistics aren't working. They may or may not be back some day. Let me kn...

Re: MURICON (part deuce)
Although the game servers seem to be running, the web server software at the old location seems to be down already. I'm not sure if this is permanent or not, but to provide a way to view old results and download recordings, there's now a copy of the website at http://muriconarchive.defcon.vsj.fi/ Th...

Re: How To Watch Recordings
Recordings of games played on Muricon can be viewed without installing DedCon. Click "Launch playback" and follow instructions.

Alliance data for web via in-game chat?
As many people know, Dedcon does not log information about alliances made after the game starts. That's why there usually is no alliance information for team games on the dcrec web sites. This sucks. http://www.group6.info/ has, for some time now, shown the team colours and the "team x won by y...

Dedcon fails to launch playbacks on Debian testing
I can't seem to get Dedcon to launch a dcrec playback on Debian stretch/sid. user@host:~$ /path/to/dedcon -l /path/to/recording.dcrec Loading recording file /path/to/recording.dcrec. terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::ios_base::failure[abi:cxx11]' what(): basic_ios::clear: iostream...

I think that's a hexagon.

Great.
BTW, In the Defcon installation directory there's a file named preferences.txt which has:
Changing ScreenWindowed to 1 there before starting the game would probably have done the trick too.

Re: MURICON (part deuce)
The Muricon public chat is broken. "Players" cannot read what the spectators say.
Also the servers don't restart after players leave. A spectator can block the server from restarting just by staying in there after the game ends.

Re: Diplomacy in Action 2.1
With Vsj's stat table there's no need for someone to run it. And a mod can edit the first post to declare the winner once it's finished. Yes. However, as I guess Hound already mentioned, there is this admin page for the stats table with check boxes for excluding individual results from the table. T...
