If you want to keep your yard outside and can support it, more power to you I'd say.

Of course hiring 100 guards to form a beat down box might be excessive, but eh.

Wait... I requested answers?

I though answers where being demanded of me (more or less at gun point).

Normally the hole in the middle is much larger and the yard only makes a fraction of it... but yea. That's how it works.

And as mentioned, it works in the simple cases (as pictured).

Get over it?

I gave a quick-fix to a problem.
I'm not here to explain why it happened (though I think I did a decent job of guessing).

And I thought it occurred all the time, cause it never worked for me before. I've since realized it actually works sometimes.

Sue me.

Guys, this happens all the time and it's really annoying. I've found just building a door on the edge of the yard works wonders in these situations. The door never gets used of course, and it costs money, but it works. Once you met the requirement, I oft just remove the door without issue, but unti...

Not the corners thing. And now you are just annoying me. I've wasted enough time explaining what shouldn't need to be. At least read what I've said before lest you waste both our time. 1. Soundly enclosed yard. (Assume I'm not an idiot and can manage that much, thank you) 2. Error flag 3. Add remove...

I'd love to show you this set up, but I don't even know where that save is floating around and I'm way too busy (just started a new job and school) to even think about making a new game. Cheers. It's not that hard to imagine... Again, it's literally what the OP said... a yard that enclosed by build...

Breezing over the stuff that happened above (thanks for the stick up Spectre)... Thanks for reading what's posted instead of assuming I can't enclose a 5x5 square with a building. I read what you posted and am still confused. How did you make your yard? Did you zone one large building and demolish 5...

Already fixed it by simply adding a random door (as already mentioned) in my case.

If I run across it again, I'll post a pic.

Thanks for reading what's posted instead of assuming I can't enclose a 5x5 square with a building.

Re: issue

I have an issue where I have plenty of cooks and equipment, the number of meals being prepped is high, but only a few meals ever become ready. Is this a bug? Sticky: This is NOT the Alpha forum >_> He asked if this was a bug of not. Lay off it will ya. To answer the question, it depends. What are t...

Re: Using the yard to get inmates ready for work!

Building a toilet house and some phones on the yard terrain will let prisoners top off those needs before starting to work. Also if a break is scheduled inmates can quickly enter the yard and return soon after. Ha, a house for the toilet! My prisoners wished they had such luxury. I found this trick...

Better yet, pause and turn them in any order you please.

Though I fail to see why I have to turn on the capacitors in the first place.
