Re: Staff not eating

My initial attempts to remedy the lack of trays issue was only a stopgap. Even with more serving tables in the staff room and more cooks and kitchens to improve the flow of trays, peek prisoner eating times was still had a problem for tray demand in the staff room. I noticed, however, in the food lo...

Re: Staff not eating

I couldn't get a second staff room to have food delivered to it, so I'm still using one for now. I'm keeping things fairly stable with 1 staff break lasting 120-150 minutes, which is enough time for everyone to walk to the one staff room I have. Not ideal though; would be nice if the food distribute...

Re: bug in Export of wood

There's definitely something a big strange going on here with logs being taken directly to the exports. This was with a few carpenter's tables set up. I removed the exports and tried it again when I had a very mature prison. I haven't seen one log go to exports, and I don't think the workshop machin...

Re: bug in Export of wood

I haven't tried update 3 yet, but are there any functioning carpenters tables in the workshop? If not, the game will assume that it's more economical to sell the wood as-is since you have no means of producing it further. If you want to stockpile it for when you do have carpenters, you'll need to re...

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 23

I was wondering if you could explain a little further how to use logic circuits and logic bridges? Like show a configuration for something simple so that I could get the idea of how it connects and explain what each of the and, or, what NAnd and xor is.. etc. Every time I connect a logic circuit, 2...

Re: Broken Jail Doors? Regime Issue?

I reported this as a bug some time ago. When using multiple regimes, cell doors will only open for all groups when the *final* group goes from sleep/lockdown to something else, so if you have a regime like this: H |-----Min-----|-----Nor-----|-----Max-----| 5 |----Sleep----|----Sleep----|----Sleep-...

Re: Logic airlock-like entrance

When you hook up a relay from a door servo to a logic circuit, it's possible to output when another door should and shouldn't be able to open. The problem is however that the other door will also have to be hooked up to the door-remote, and you can't do any kind of processing between a door-remote ...

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 23

I nearly died at the end of the video when Chris and Mark realize that there's a field of chained up prisoners with nothing better to do than watch the clock circuit. The piss, poo, and puke everywhere was a nice touch.

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 22

There's nothing like seeing a new post in the blog forum that could mean a new Alpha release. And then you find it's only new posts in a previous Alpha's thread. And then you find a conversation like this.

Re: Missing prisoners uniform and bleach alpha 19

I had this happen once. Was never able to reproduce, but essentially saving and then reloading the save corrected the problem. Try exiting out of the game completely and then loading if no success. Let us know if you still have a problem. Try removing and rezoning (possibly moving) the delivery zone...

Failing reform classes

With Alpha-18 we have various reform programs. Many of them require multiple sessions supposedly but my prisoners seem to be tested, and some fail, after only one session. Is this intended? Let's take the workshop safety class. It says 5 prisoners and 2 sessions. After only one session, it seems lik...

Re: Nearest is better?

For the most part, prisoners should still be using the toilets in their individual cells, assuming they're assigned one. As previously stated, there are some exceptions (bugs) were this doesn't seem to happen. In my case, I have nearly a 100 prisoners stream past a holding cell with toilets in order...

Re: Finding it a bit easy...

Yeah the weird thing is that two out of five prisoners are in their cell at night digging a tunnel with the Sporck, but in the morning you can throw 20 grumpy prisoners into a shower with only three faucets and no one gets upset. I haven't found a single tunnel since they were toned down in the Alp...
