Re: excessive hiding of contraband

Say...

What happens to all that stuff when a prisoner is released?

Does he take it with him? Does the next prisoner to use that cell "inherit" all of it?

Just a thought.

Re: [Suggestion] Deploy workmen

Not if the prisoners have no access to the delivery area... ;) I have extra cooks and workmen and all access to the delivery area is through guarded, staff only airlocks. My issue is that when the workmen pick up the plates and head for the workshop, they are still holding the "truck unloading&...

Re: [Suggestion] Deploy workmen

I'd be happy if more than 6-8 workmen could be assigned to unload... EG: with blank plates, 6 workmen run to the truck and unload it. Then they grab the plates and head for the workshop with them. In the mean time, until those 6 get back, NO other workmen will unload trucks and queue builds up. Does...

Re: Dogs Kill Prisoners

If the dogs are set to do between X and Y damage when running down a prisoner and either guards or other dogs do Z more damage then the total may be more than the prisoner can take? Goes right past unconscious to dead too fast for the dog to notice and stop in time?

Just a thought.

Re: (Suggestions)Weathers and effects

Erm...

Rain for more than a minute or two at a time would be months long in game-time. I've had prisoners be released after completing short sentences without ever even having a meal in the big house. Prisoners would be building rafts out of mattresses. Or they would be suiciding from depression.

Re: Quick question about tools

I know the forks are durable, I saw one prisoner stab quite a few prisoners and guards with one in my 'arena' prison side project. I would assume the spoons are also made of the same adamantium alloy. :D Forks and spoons? That's too inefficient. I demand sporks, dammit! Well, it's not adamantium bu...

Re: Bug - workers fixing washer in water = tons of lost $$

Would you stand in a puddle of water and rewire a live electrical outlet? My dads friend had to fix a circuit in a flooded basement due to a failed clothes washer issue... He brought a friend, handed him a baseball bat and told him, "If I 'lock up', get me off the circuit quickly" expecti...

Re: [Broken Feature?] Shower Inside Cells

Don't have a pic handy as I'm at work but my cells "were" 2x4. The back 2 tiles were a shower head and toilet. (shower square marked as "shower" leaving 7 squares marked "cell") The next 2 were drains The front 4 were 2 empty squares leading to the door and the other 2 ...

Re: Prison Plan: The Eye

150+ cells... One of the 4 yards could be redone as a holding cell, etc...? Then each ring could have a semi-dedicated yard. The 1 square wide hallways could make pathing a problem (prisoners taking the long way round, etc...). I always make all hallways and busy doorways at least 2 wide to help avo...

Re: Allocating more RAM to PA?

From my own observations and what I've read in other various threads: 1: Smaller prisons tend to have less or even no lag issues. 2: I notice that when my prison uses 512 Mb or less ram that it tends to run without lag. As the game is played, I have observed ram use increase but never decrease. I ha...
