Re: Prison Architect Alpha 34

I'll preface this with I watch too much Orange is the new black. Ideas I would like to see. 1. Gardening.. the basis of which is already in place with the forestry. Uskilled inmates grow food to offset food costs. New job for unskilled inmates/ 2. Guards gain experience.. newer guards should be less...

Re: Punishment Suggestions

And there should be punishments for digging a hole. If a prisoner gets caught digging a tunnel, his rap sheet will say 'Escape Attempt', so in the policy tab, whatever you set for escape attempt goes the digging tunnels.. True but if you find a hole in a prisoners cell hes not punished for it unles...

Re: Laundry issues (A13)

Is it just me or did laundry stopped working completely? I made the room, satisfied the room needs, used the Deployment screen to assign jobs. The prisoners stacked the pile of clothes into the baskets... and then it stopped. None of them is pushing the carts around. They all just wander through th...

They always dig from toilets.. easiest thing to do is periodically search all toilets. Also the ones most likey to dig are ones wi...

you dont even need holding cells.. you can keep them in the delivery area indefinately and they will never cause a problem. I had a chain gang prison that was just that.. no cells.. just an administrative building and a delivery area. Added benefit.. they never get released since they wont be releas...

Currently WAD, prisoners avoid stealing metal contraband if they have to move through a metal detector which leaves nothing but false positives. 1 in 30 is about right since IIRC it was stated at about 3%. Personally I think its fine as is.

Re: Downside of allowing drugs?

Haven't seen this posted, but with alpha 12 drugs/booze/cigs aren't caught by the metal detectors. Has anybody seen a negative effect of just letting those go? Currently I'm searching my guys every 10 days or so just because it seems like something I should do, but in the meantime I'm not seeing an...
