I would be interested to know if you have an Mods running. I am playing without any mods and have not seen this issue. I have had prisons up to 500 prisoners and everything is running smoothly.

I have this issue also... almost. I had 20 workers and only 2 to 3 would build at a time. So I put in 100 workers. All of them will start heading to build, and half way there, they just quit running, do an about-face and march slowly back to storage... just in time to do it all again. Over and over....

The guards sound like the guards in half-life 2 in my opinion. At least on my machine.

Every time I hear them, it reminds me of the opening scene where the guards are beating on people just for fun.

I'm tired of seeing my visitors bypass the visitor entrance, going through the main gate, and then walking with the population all the way back to the visitation area and entering via the prisoner's entrance. If your serving tables are in the same canteen, it does not matter if there are serving trays on a particular serving table. As long as one has trays, the prisoners will be able to be fed no matter which serving table they go to. I had the exact issue that you describe and it seemed to be related to...
