The endless cycle of rioting...
Not sure if this was brought up yet, but there's an issue with prisoners who get tossed into solitary (I mentioned it in passing in some other thread but believe this deserves its own entry). Prisoners in solitary still have needs, right? But they're also in solitary so they can't: eat, get clean cl...

As far as the intake issue goes, it's my understanding that the smaller the map you choose, the fewer the number of prisoners arrive each day. Makes sense Actually, it really doesn't I mean, as you said it doesn't make sense realistically and gameplay wise, you have the same amount of money and tim...

Well lets just say, for the amount of time I have played so far it has been a lot of fun, but there's also a lot that's quite broken right now which makes it a chore, at least for me atm, once a prison grows. A serious problem is solitary, and certain needs not being filled because of it which will ...

I did that, good idea - but guard AI retardation screwed things up massively just now. It so happened that on day 5 I had a bunch of prisoners get injured during fights, and they were promptly sent to either infirmary first or straight to solitary. Afterwards however, my guards decided to stuff the ...

Prisoner arrivals...
So I've finally managed to overcome my power station woes, everything's smooth and my prison can currently hold 20 prisoners, with 8 already there. I go to open the prison to more prisoners to arrive, then it tells me 20 prisoners will arrive in x hours - ???. Why does the game send me more prisoner...

Re: A Roadmap for Prison architect
Personally, I'd like to see a system in which you can rapidly order guards to a certain sector without necessarily giving them direct orders regarding what to do when they get there. They'd respond to whatever is going on in that sector on their own accord. I'm aware that you can already sort-of do...

Oh, so the little black lines that connect to lights don't count? But what is that 'area of influence', can't name it any other way, I'm seeing when I hit the utility button all about then? Is it some sort of 'range' for power cables or something? This area is colored after the power station its lin...

Problem with Power Stations
Hello all, first post here and I have a question regarding power stations. I read on the wiki that building a second station, there's the danger of short circuiting the power stations when their lines are connected coequally - but I haven't done that. But after I built the second power station (quit...
