Suggestion: Cell Blocks

While the segregation of regimes and the prison by security level is nice, ultimately it's too restrictive. Rather than having "Low Sec" "Mid Sec", and "High Sec", what if instead we had "Cell Block A", "Cell Block B", "Cell Block C", and s...

Re: Prisoners dig a tunnel through the perimeter wall

I haven't actually tried this since I haven't had that big of issues with tunneling prisoners, but I think the best way to deal with tunnelers would be to make a massive fence around your entire prison, with a single opening to the outside with no doors. Then, post a few guards/dog patrols/armed gua...

Export Surplus Wood/Planks

Currently, if you have a carpenters table in your shop churning out beds, your workers will stop moving wood planks to the export zone, even if you're producing far more planks than you can turn into beds in any reasonable timeframe. I'd like to suggest that any planks above those that can fit onto ...

Re: [BUG] Carpentry Program

Not really a bug, I think, so much as an oversight. What the grant is looking for is for your prison to have 10 superior beds, rather than having produced 10 superior beds. It should probably be counting beds produced, but as a simple work-around for now you can simply delete your export area until ...

Don't think this will work as an electricity generator. With impossible-to-achieve perfect conversion the amount of energy required to lift the water would be equal to the amount generated when it's dropped. Makes me think whoever came up with it must have gotten all of their experience from buildi...

Honestly, the kids have heard worse swearing just as much as they've seen worse violence. I don't get why everyone gets all up in arms about swearing, all that does is make it "forbidden" which translates to cool for young kids, making them swear more.

Thing with the new RELEASED feature is that in alpha 10 I had a prison with circa 140 captives. Now, after running the same save for about 10 in-game days I'm down to 85 captives. This is kinda alarming. Since, I was especially aiming for a large prison and even with trying to "inject" mo...

Dirt and grime can hide deeper problems, like cracks and leaks. If it gets really bad, plants can start to grow in those cracks, widening them until it compromises the integrity of the wall, causing it to collapse.

I was wondering how many prisoners are leaving. I think it's great, prisoners can finally get resleased. But I don't want to lose 10 or more prisoners a day. I think it should be slowed down how fast the sentenced time passes away. Slowing down the sentences wouldn't actually reduce the number of p...

This really doesn't seem like the kind of game that would benefit much from multiplayer. Sharing maps and chatting over steam seems like more than enough player interaction. Actually putting two players on the same map doesn't really add anything to the game.

I knew that my post, wouldn't make me many/any fans, but i had to share my thoughts about it, since it bugged me for quite a while. I'm a developer too, only web stuff (JAVA, PHP, Javascript,...). If i upload a version to the dev server, where our customers can get an insight of the product, i make...

It's absolutely possible to do, but would take a fair amount of development time for not a lot of payoff. I could see it being added later in development, when more of the core systems are in place and there's time to work on less critical stuff, but for now it's just not worth it.

Ok, ok guys, enough poo-slinging, this isn't a zoo. Let's get back on top...

Wait, nevermind. Go back to the poo-slinging. It's more worthwhile.
