I did a quick search but could not find anything so I apologize if this has already been asked. Does anyone know when the BETA will be? I am currently loving the Alpha and all the updates, just wondering if there is a date set for the Beta or even the game release itself.

You cannot make a foundation wall by wall. You need to use the rectangle tool. It you go wall by wall, one at a time, the area between the walls will NOT become a foundation. You need to have at least one block of actual floor when plopping a foundation down.

You might want to take a look at the Developers forum, where stuff like this gets posted much more than here in the general area. I like your ideas ... I do enough removing the door and adding a wall to my cells once the prisoner is in it. I am creating quite the catacombs. Muahahaha.

I always like to see what other people would put in a game like this. I think your idea about scenarios is cool. I would love to certain inmates trying to escape and have it your job to watch out for them. I think this game has a lot of potential, and I hope it lives up to it.

I am thinking of making the entire map a foundation, and making my rooms based on concrete walls I place. Has anyone tried this? Is there a drawback at all anyone can think of?

Buy it ... it's worth it. It's a stupid but fun game. Already spent many hours playing and it's just in alpha with plenty of bugs. Already better than Simcity IMHO.

I was having this issue, I was making my foundations one wall at a time and not using the rectangle tool. If you try to make foundations like this, even if you line up the walls with eachother one by one, no foundation will be made. Cheers.
