Prisoners slow moving
I have got an hours free time before Sleep in the regime. My prisoners spread out, but when Sleep regime kicks in, I have a problem - about 5 or 6 prisoners either walk really slowly toward their cells, or just hang around doing nothing. At some point, about a few hours into Sleep, they all finally ...

* Rooms and object lists in Alpha order
* ability to add notes to the map- great for plannng ahead.

Re: Jail Door Bug
Hey, I'm new here (but not in Prison Architect :P ) I don't know what to say, but after auto-save (even after Update 2), some of my jail door is not working properly. Jail door is closed but its texture is a bit fading, and even it is closed, prisoner, guards, even janitors can pass through it (wit...

Re: Best way to learn the game?
Hi Welcome to PA :) The best way to learn (as you've done the starter campaign) is to play the sandbox mode- try stuff, watch videos on YT to see how others do stuff. You may find my 3 part Absolute Beginners Guide useful, as I show how to avoid some of the pitfalls. I also have a Lets Play which co...

Re: Riots after shower time
Also, give them an hour free time after sleep but before shower. This will allow them to use the toilet in their cell, use the phone, common room, etc. before congregating in the shower. Or don't even have a set shower time at all, that's what I do. They will then use the shower when they want. I t...

Re: Canteen no demand
Just off the top of my head- your prisoners can access the canteens OK? No deployment/zoning quirks? Try changing the double prison doors for normal doors and see if that makes a difference.

Re: Riots after shower time
You can try putting toilets in the shower areas- this worked for me when I had a bowel/bladder issue in the mornings. That way, they can deal with hygiene and bladder/bowel at the same time.

Re: De rerum mortis (about death...row)
The death sentences is actually shown NOT to have the deterring factor people think it would. Being dead isn't anywhere nearly as scary as spending the next 60 years locked up with 'the sisters'. I'm not so sure- what deterrent is there if you're one of 'The Sisters', as you put it? If you're a lif...

Ignore, duplicate thread
Hi all Just a quick one- I'm guessing that we don't have the ability to multi-zone deployment areas? For instance- in my laundry and workshop, I'd like both max and med sec to work, but absolutely not Protective Custody. I have had situations where I leave open the places where inmates can work, so ...

Re: Bug, Special Deployments don't save
There's way too many steps involved for reporting bugs. You have to first register a forum account, then register your Steam key to your forum account, then make a Mantis account, THEN post your bug to the tracker. That's too much, there's gotta be quite a few bugs not being reported because people...

...but not much. Not sure what is defined as a clean environment, probably an area that isn't showing obvious signs of dirt.

Re: Potential [Bug]? Prisoners suddenly go into lockdown
This happened to me too, in the canteen also. basically, one big canteen broken into two by a partition wall- the doorway between the two wasn't zoned as a canteen (my bad), and when any prisoners went from one side to the other, they got handcuffed. I *think* this behaviour is linked to when prison...

Re: Dead Doggy bug.
I had this - I left the dog alone to see what it does.
It eventually just gets up and walks itself out of the prison, it's little doggy heart broken, destined to wander the streets randomly helping strangers.
