Re: Alpha 19 suggestions
Fat baddies? Okay. Well, besides being the type of asshole that sounds almost like a parody internet tough guy troll, what have you been discussing at length with Chris?

Re: Super-nerfed workshops
It's not balancing, it's basic functionality. If it's going to be required for prisoners to take a course before they can do certain jobs, as a way to restrict the amount of people you can have doing it and to limit the free money coming from it, then the least they can do is have the prisoners you...

Re: Super-nerfed workshops
Wood logs has nothing to do with the workshop. Wooden planks do autosell (at least if you don't have a carpenter table, I don't know if they do once you have one). I haven't got as far as fancy beds, but I believe the reduced "sell item price" was acknowledged as a bug and will be fixed. ...

But they don't autosell. At all. Not wood, not fancy beds.

Figured the answer would be "when Ryan gets to it" but yeah, we don't know yet.

Re: Alpha 19 suggestions
I agree that it's quite weird that they eg. choose to asked for Facebook on the reform instead of to the dedicated community on their forums. What's wrong with barely literate teenagers? Well, they did ask us in the poll so it's not like we're being ignored over here in the armpit of their fanbase....

Re: Alpha 19 suggestions
I feel like PA is going to become the sort of game I hate if not outright despise given that Twitter feed. For every me, there's like twenty barely literate teenagers demanding some screwed up version of Dwarf Fortress with a higher difficulty level and they'd probably get it because punishment = fu...

Re: [Suggestion] New Room: Entrance
The game doesn't encourage that, does it? Anyway, they'll pass through your kitchen because visitors and staff will take the quickest route to anywhere even if it crosses through areas you'd rather it didn't because neither obey Staff Only designated areas. I like the concept of making a designated ...

I'd like if they stopped rampantly taking forks and spoons everytime they go to eat, they're like magpies. Just a huge mass of pink and blue circles at chokepoints when checking Contraband and that's 24 hours alone.

Nope, nothing new, just takes objects.png and people.png and sticks them together with notation so small we can't read it.

Re: Super-nerfed workshops
I dunno, PA uses dollars, gets "federal" funding and the US is kind of the premiere example of a private prison industry. Sure it's not representing the US system, but the US system is what happens when you let the market run the prison system and I've yet to have any government oversight...

Re: Super-nerfed workshops
One ofthe problems with the private prison industry in America right now is that in general they don't want to reform anyone because they want those people back in jail. And the idea of it being "factory architect" is not all that far from reality. What essentially amounts to slave labour...

Thing is that you're the accountant. May have missed that because there's an accountant right there, got their own office and everything right? Wrong, tech tree unlock is all they provide, you're responsible for everything else because you're the architect and are responsible for three jobs though ...

Re: Needs escalating rapidly during night time
Because it's not something that'll be changed until then because of such adjustments or features, it's not really to be a jackass or anything but how the devs are doing it. They're doing the old school method of development by alpha being all about features and bug fixing coming up in the beta stage...
