Re: [suggestion] Instigator and Volatile is too OP combined

I have one guy in my prison whose attributes are unknown (no snitches have uncovered them yet) and would keep starting fights and trying to escape. I ended up putting him in maxsec, creating his own segregated cell, and giving him a schedule which keeps him away from others. By keeping the numbers d...

[Suggestion] Divide meal trays

I'm finding that meal times take more hours than they should, and that all my prisoners are not getting fed, because the meal trays are all being put onto one serving table. Each prisoner ambles up to the serving table, takes their meal, goes back, there's a pause, then the next comes up. This is ma...

Re: Bug A13 Metal Detector

I had a prisoner trigger the detector and then showed up nothing when the guards searched him. I noticed he went straight to the loo, so I then manually searched there and found tools. Coincidence?

Some personality traits may be tougher to crack than others. A tough nut may shrug off solitary confinement (like Steve McQueen in the Great Escape), a softer person may be more affected by it.

I bookmark the bad ones by upgrading them to maximum security prisoners with their neato red outfits. Those who behave get a reduction in their security rank.

I set a fence up by the road on one play through and it had a gap of two for prisoners to come through. Subsequently the prisoners weren't unloaded even though my guards could move to the prisoners. As well as making sure deliveries are by the road, make sure you don't have any clever building works...

@christopher1006 To elaborate, if these events happen, but are not triggered by unhappy prisoners, and neither are they occurring at a set time, then they are still random events. So that's why I posted them here :)

I've been thinking on it some more, and I think random events need not be obvious events (such as in sim city). Perhaps an inmate could start looking for weaknesses, perhaps they could acquire or create wire cutters and use them on the fence (makes metal detectors more important); they could acquire...

I've reached a point of balance whereby everybody seems to be happy and days are uneventful. I was just thinking that random events would be nice to keep things challenging if it's been peaceful for too long. At the moment it seems I can just go to cruise control and turn over an easy profit.

That caught me out, too. I keep finding myself using right-click to get out of things and I don't know where I picked up the habit from :)
