Re: Prison Architect Alpha 29

Library, parole and staff that finally takes the staff door instead of blocking gates? Best update ever! :P This should also fix the annoying/hilarious situation of a guard assigned to a station waiting in front of a remote door that is controlled by said, unmanned station...

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 28

Obviously there is a second driver sitting in the truck, and he's on the clock ;) Good enough for me! :P Btw, I was just thinking that it might make more sense for doctors to go to a staff room if there is one, before standing out in the cold. And if there are more than two, than naturally they uni...

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 28

However if he dies or falls unconcious whilst doing his job, or takes too long to return (>1 hour), the truck will leave without him and he will be forced to walk home. Wait, so if the driver dies, the truck will leave without anyone behind the wheel and the driver will be forced to turn into a zom...

Only problem I can see with this is the utilities map may get a bit busy/congested if we had to link up all the drains as well. Following on from that, if drains need a waste pipe then so do all the toilets, sinks. If we could have a layering system for the utilities, this would make placing these ...

I'm still hoping that one day we can place objects in planning mode too (placing them without placing them, you know) so I can workout the layout of a room even better. Canteens, kitchens, showers and all those slightly bigger rooms would get easier to design efficiently.

-- Shameless bump -- Spreadsheet updated~ Added some new stuff from alpha 9. Also added a new field to keep track of what has been added in which alpha. Figured out how to edit a save file to start a fire... Can't believe I overlooked the fact that "Fire" is just an object, like a light et...

Anyways, this argument is pointless. We are arguing about how we interpret words, this'll go nowhere.

That goes for the largest part of the posts in this forum... Oh well.

That's just cause they don't like you to stand on their bar...

Anyway, take it easy people. There already is plenty of pointless fighting happening on this forum.

I've experianced the bush over my jail cell doors but it's never actually stopped anything from opening/closing. ^ This. I've never had a door that stopped functioning altogether. Btw, it's nice that you know how the doors function, but you still didn't specify which door you experience this with.....

I'm just happy fire will kill people now. I still have to encounter my first fire... I've been trying for a week now to get a fire, leaving the game running for long periods hoping something would spark, but no joy. :/ If you put Cookers in the shower, they will explode when water touches them and ...
