"Warmth' need a little confusing

It suggests prisoners want to be warmer, but being too warm upsets them, too. It should be changed to 'Temp' or something, with a 'too high/too low' slider.

Also will we be getting ceiling fans, etc. to cool prisoners?

Is Quick Build moddable? Custom Quick Builds?

It's a great idea, and one I needed for ages. I hate drawing cells individually, but the ones in there are really limited. Are we able to add custom quick builds or are modders able to? I'd love an 'Edit Quick Builds' option from the main menu, like Cities: Skylines has.

Re: Update 4 - Clone tool removed, wtf?

They say right in the latest a Alpha video that the Clone Tool was just moved into the Quick Build menu, and it now no longer needs to be unlocked. So if anything they made it better.

Re: [Question/Suggestion] Starving Prisoners

Yeah, I guess my idea would make it so cell doors would need their own doors, as cell doors are often used as tight traffic doors. A penalty to offset the death makes more sense.

I mean starvation is a really big deal, perhaps the penalty should be quite high, even.

[Question/Suggestion] Starving Prisoners

Out of curiosity, wouldn't the current "soft execution" of starving volatile prisoners in solitary be solved by making it so cell doors and solitary doors can't be permanently locked? I mean typically these are internal-only doors, and also typically doors humans are retained behind. Would...

Re: Graphical revision until the final version?

I mean why not work the shift scheduling slider directly into the regime panel? All of these tools designed to schedule should be cohesive and in the same place, why 3 buttons and 3 tabs and 3 artistic styles? And when one of your own staff doesn't quite get it when explained? Anyway, I'm sure it'll...

Re: Graphical revision until the final version?

Yeah the UI is impressively bad and the artistic handling incohesive. When they showed that time slider in the latest release video all I could do was laugh and thought, "Every interface, a unique and beautiful snowflake. No two the same." But it's alpha so it's not really the phase to be ...

Re: Shower floods

Wait, you can place drains under doors?

edit: Shame you can't place them under shower heads and solve the whole problem. :/

Re: 4k Monitor

how did u get it to run in native resolution, it only runs 1920x1080 with me.... It's not perfect, but you can manually input window resolutions in the settings file located in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\ You may be able to punch in a resolution that spans both ...

Re: Critique on Introversion

And honestly the current trend of pre-complete releases, and calling all the purchasers "testers" really muddles the role. None of us are on the payroll, none of us have design or development backgrounds that we were hired for. We're not spending our days playing and re-playing micro-scena...

... with more than 250,000 investors at their back, IV should really push foward now to bring this game out of alpha status. Not a court in the world would consider a pre-release purchaser an investor to the degree that they have control (or even stake) in the company. The entitlement kids seem to ...

Re: [Suggestion] Planning mode

If i recall correctly theme hospital or evil genius had a good planning mode that allowed you to plan everything and when satisfied or you had the resources go ahead and build everything Yeah Evil Genius had a beautiful pre-build mode where you mapped out each room, placed all the props, could edit...

Re: Lengendarys - real life?

Ok so when legends got brought into the game, I heard Chris talking about a reference to Charles Bronson. Living in the united states, I had no clue who this was. More confusingly, if you're North American you probably thought he meant this Charles Bronson: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Bron...
