Sprooty, get off your high horse. You can expect ZERO testing between "releases". Not 10 minutes, not an hour, none. This is an Alpha of a crowd-funded game, and game-breaking bugs are to be expected. We are the testers. Found a bug? Good for you, submit it to the bug tracker. Open the new...

[SUGGESTION] - Rename "Capacitor"

I don't know about anyone else, but I was continually running out of power and building new power stations for the longest time, cursing out the developers for making power stations so weak and expensive. It wasn't until I saw someone on Youtube with one power station running their whole prison that...

I bought name in the game just after Alpha 7, now 2 releases later and still stuck on the "Unauthorised" list, which is pretty huge.

How long before you guys clear down that list?

Heh, the community-run savegame manager is getting more dev time and higher quality bugfixes than the game itself, love it ;)

Right now, the game is in alpha status. It is not feature complete. The goal at the moment is to implement all of the features that IV and players want. As new features are introduced, new critical bugs will also likely be introduced. There is not much point in fixing bugs right now, as the game do...

You can't fault them for not fixing an issue marked crash/block/urgent/immediate when it's called "It crashed" has the details "It crashed" and the steps to reproduce are "Dunno; it just crashed", even if it does have debug logs. I've looked at the unsolved highest pri...

I've been busy on mantis today marking issues as dupe and assigning tags to a few issues. I'm not a moderator, but hopefully my edits and notes will help mods somewhat :) Would love to see this game make it to a finished state, but clearly a lot of work to do, particularly around AI and pathfinding.

Sometimes you have to disregard what people tell you that they want, for their own good. Some of us are genuinely testing this game, in order to feed back bugs and suggestions to the devs. To my mind, that is what an Alpha test build is for. The majority are not doing this, they just want a new Them...

That would be hilarious if Prisoners who felt at home tried to stay after their sentence ended. :D This is actually a recognised psychological condition that affects a surprising number of long-term prisoners. These walls are kind of funny. First you hate 'em, then you get used to 'em. Enough time ...

Most of the problems mentioned could be dealt with simply by including user-based prisoners as part of a ratio to "standard" prisoners... even if the list is full of 1337 haxxors, if only 1 in 10 is from this list the numbers aren't bad. Agreed, if the devs create 15'000 "boring"...

The prison is good, but the music and the reactions to it are what make this video hilarious.

Intentional or not, you made me laugh for a solid 5 minutes. Well played good sir, well played.

Just to echo some of the previous suggestions: Prisoners - Cigarette / Drug trade - Smoking / Drug use - Gangs - Tattoos (on face?) Guards / Staff - Unassigned guard used for action first, don't pull guards off patrols if there are idle ones around - Nearest guard queues up 3 actions rather than dra...

Ok thank you, I will have another look in that menu. I did look everywhere but I must have missed that. I do think the "Constant Intake" checkbox should be removed if it no longer serves any function. AvariceFriend I hope I don't get that bug! if you continue to get 8 prisoners per day but...

Prisoner intake in Alpha 6

I've not played since Alpha 2, but I recently updated to Alpha 6 and am confused: I've started a new prison (a few times now) and I keep getting 8 prisoners every day at 8am, regardless of whether I have "constant intake" turned on or off at the start when I create my prison. The patch not...
