[Spoiler] Choose your Warden.
Just wanted to add in the long version of the PC GAMER SHOW prison architect episode it shows the 'choose your warden' option and it looks pretty cool. They all look different and honestly fairly well designed. Different wardens have different effects: The Warden: same guy we have always played. The...

Re: [SUGGESTIONS] Escape Mode Wishlist
Very exciting, here are my own suggestions and hopefully some are already implemented: - Needs apply to you. You do need to eat, sleep, use the bathroom, etc. With poor morale, you will be less effective and may temporarily lose control. - "Survival mode" aka start as an ex cop or snitch. ...

Re: [Discussion] A future patch should cut back micromanagi
Well my main concern is not necessarily to be able to 'let the game play itself' but for my prison to be intelligent enough (If I put the effort into it) for it to take care of some of the smaller chores and allow me to focus on running the place. Sure, back when the game was simpler it was easy to ...

[Discussion] A future patch should cut back micromanaging.
So my experience with the early game is that you could play the 'overnight' game where you would stop intake, go to bed and see how your prison was doing next day. Unfortunately I feel like a lot of elements require micromanaging: Prisoner Escapes : guards should be a little better at searching toil...

Re: This god damn event system...
This sentiment may have been abandoned, but once upon a time Prison Architect was a game you could 'set and forget' and your guards would deal with prisoners, workmen with repairs, etc. Now I do feel like there are excessive amounts of micromanagement required, and the virus is a good example. You s...

Re: Has anyone noticed more 'front door' escape attempts?
I can see that helping... in my case it is currently a fence with a gate, then a large fenced in area with dog pens where all traffic moves through, and that dog pen has additional doors... one leads into 'reception' for new inmates and one is kind of an 'employee tunnel' door that allows work men, ...

Re: Fear that the value of performance is being underestimat
People have requested that the game bakes in paths every once in a while, since in most prisons there are only so many paths. I mean I really like how unpredictable prisoner actions and movements are, but if the game itself drew some paths every once in a while that prisoners and guards tend to fall...

Has anyone noticed more 'front door' escape attempts?
Just curious... it is something that did not really happen much, prisoners always seemed to either want to tunnel out or riot and take control of the place. Now I've noticed large groups (5 to 15) will just try to rush out of the prison, banging up doors on the way. I had an escape like this at the ...

Re: Not enough Legendary Prisoners
Honestly Legendary Prisoners are a mess... it is like having a supervillain in your prison. If they got rid of them, I would not mind. What I do mind is that all my gangs are leaderless because the legendaries are so rare... and at least in my past prisons when they did show up they where like a jug...

Re: Gang FLAWS after testing...
I agree that if feels that I need to TRY HARD to get gangs, rather than them being a thing that just happens. I agree with recruitment and electing leadership. I would also say that there would have to be some sort of a penalty to a gang growing, and it would have to involve confidential informants....

Re: Question: Gang leaders?
This will sound masochistic but I hope they eventually make it so that if there are 5 or more gang members, a leader will be elected and then replaced if you get a legendary character. I feel like currently the feature is just not working since you need a super huge (or cheat code created like in th...

[Suggestion] The Legal Update
So I have a tendency to think of updates in terms of adding systems... like The Gang Update or the Escape Update, etc. In the past I've suggested a couple... such as a big expansion on mental health or a big expansion to injury, disease and status effects. Last time I was playing, I was obsessed wit...

Re: [Suggestion] Sexuality need
I've always said the most tasteful way of doing this sort of thing would be vans set up in a fenced area. That does not go beyond 'sims' levels of acknowledging sex exists... a prisoner and a visitor go in, a happier, more motivated prisoner comes out with the visitor. If they want to be really funn...

Re: asylum just like in prison break
Check out this old thread of mine, I'm very much pushing for mental health to be a big deal too. And given how much the developers watch documentaries, I'm sure they are interested in Mental Health although might be focusing on all the inevitable things such as gangs, the comisary, execution, etc (w...

Re: [SUGGESTION] Name in Game/Gangs
Also going back to what the OP says, maybe it is worth opening up the 'name in the game' guys for edit. That way you can find your own prisoner and set him up the way you want him, but for everyone else a name in the game remains fairly random. Then again I could grab and edit a number of name in th...
