Zoning is for cells not for shower etc. It is working as intended. So no then. I seriously doubt it's working as intended (at least to the extent of their future plans). You wouldn't have a white collar criminal taking showers with serial killers in real life prisons. Hopefully they will let us zon...

They could add a regime page for the guards as well, and you could assign deployment for each type.

Deployment fixed yet for inmates?

Hey, haven't played the alpha in a while and was wondering if they fixed it so you can set a shower/yard/canteen for each type of inmate? (high risk, med, low)

I remember zoning for this before did nothing and all the prisoners still used one facility anyway.

Has this been fixed yet?

Bang up is completely worthless imo. The prisoners can't go back to their cells without guards to open all the doors in route and the guards are usually all flocking to deal with the people fighting...which is why you wanted to use the feature in the first place. Not to mention guards 100 yards away...

It's kind of bugged though, for me when I close the intake and wait a few days it will be 16-22 prisoners coming when it's open again.

It can be easier to deal with a constant intake of 8 than get a huge amount at once sometimes.

Alright guys thanks for the answers.

I guess the best thing to do now would be to put the yard/canteen in a central area and build the different security wings around it.

Hopefully designating other rooms and changing security ratings will come soon.

That's what I just tried with a lowsec area separate from general pop, but the cooks run wild between the two kitchens and my guys aren't getting fed. I marked the areas separate under deployment, but only the prisoners follow the markings. How can I contain the cooks to one area? Is it even possible?

Multiple Canteens possible yet?

Can you still only have one canteen/kitchen for all prisoners in the new alpha?

I tried building multiple, but my cooks don't stay put and run back and forth between kitchens and prisoners aren't getting fed.

Let me know if there is a way to make this work yet.

There isn't really a game yet to give tips on. Once you build your prison the gameplay is over, just sit and watch guards automatically deal with any problems. Which there will be none after the prisoners adjust to a schedule and walk through metal detectors to and fro everyday. I was hoping alpha 6...
