hullo, just installed DEFCON on this 64 bit Win 7 laptop and ran into this little problem
it almost looks like someone selected the letters - the main logo included - in Photoshop in little rectangles and then applied a blurring filter to them. i can actually make out some of the letters in the bigger squares if i stare really hard but all the actual menu text is unintelligible. what's up with this?

Came up before. Was unable to help back then It may simply be a bug in how your GPU selects mipmap levels.
Possibly similar problem (don't remember the specifics, images no longer work) was solved, though:

tried the font mods, but that didn't do diddley . possibly something to do with the mipmaps like said in the first link. oh well, thanks for the help anyway
