I'm actually having the same problem right now.

I have the base version and an account setup. When I try to access the wiki via

http://www.introversion.co.uk/prisonarchitect/wiki

It asks for an account name and password after entering my account name and password it still says authorization is denied.

Same for me. Also I can't register my Key. They have an issue and they are fixing it as we speak. They posted it in a sticky note.

Here is how to gain access to the wiki.

Step 1: Register an account for the IV forums.
Step 2: Pay for a copy of the Alpha Build of Prison Architect(PA)
Step 3: After you have paid for PA, you should have received a confirmation email with an Alpha account License Key.
Step 4: Go to http://www.prison-architect.com/register
Step 5: Register your IV forum account with your Alpha account License Key.
Step 6: You will then be redirected to a page that indicates whether or not you have successfully registered.
Step 7: Once successfully registered you may now login to the wiki via http://www.prison-architect.com/wiki

Special Thanks to ZeroZShadow for helping me figure this out, this same information can be found on the included PDF with your download link to PA after your purchase.

I tried that and got an invalid key message.

Is there some sort of manual? Most rooms require that they be "indoors", but I dont see exactly how I make a room indoors specifically, theres just walls and doors, no roofs

I didn't get that. I got an email with the link to download, and the License Key was written in the filename of the PDF in the download page. And that key didn't work. I sent an email to them with the screen shot of the say page, but I doubt they will have time to fix it case by case... Maybe they will reset all keys and send an email notification.

Silly me. I skipped steps No. 5 to 6. I got it working.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Is it possible to change password on your "wiki" account?

If you mean the .htaccess popup that allows you to see the wiki - no.

If you mean the user account you create on the wiki, then sure - it's just like any other wiki account. I can't find an obvious way to "change password" but just logout, go to login, click forgot password, boom.

I have got a similar problem:

I paid, got the email, followed the link and downloaded everything there is to download.
Then I tried accessing the wiki.... did'nt work.
I read the pdf in the file and made this forum account, went to www.prison-architect.com/register and regitered my forum details and the Alpha key.
When I did I got the Message:

Prison Architect Alpha

Once access has been granted please visit http://devwiki.introversion.co.uk/pa and log on with your registered forum username and password to get started.

Your key must be in the form XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXX. Your key was emailed to the email address associated with your paypal account. If you no longer have access to this account, or cannot find your key please get in touch. Error That Key is not valid or appears to have already been assigned: Censored
Please try again or contact support@introversion.co.uk for support.

I tried doing this earlier and I dont know if it gave the error message the fisrt time but whenever I try to log in the wiki with my forum details, it loads for half a second and then asks me again.

Please help :(

We did have some issues at the start with some people's keys bring invalid for some reason. The best thing for you to do would be to contact Introversion (on twitter, or on their contact form) and they'll get back to to help resolve it :)

Have you heard back from them yet, Chug?
I'm having the exact same problem as you.
Sent them an email.
