Big Edge preview for Subversion

Postby estel » Mon Aug 02, 2010 3:35 pm

In the latest issue (due onto shelves in a few days), there's a double page preview for subversion. They discuss at length Chris demoing a bank hiest, and it looks goooood.
I might try to get a few scans up later, if noone else can.

How do you know what's going to be in the edge magazine in a couple of days? :/

Anyway, I guess I'll be buying this issue then. Edge is the best gaming magazine there is ^.^

Stupid Edge and their holier-than-thou-wider-than-A4 paper size.

Best I could do:

Reading this article it reminds me a lot of Rainbow Six (the game), where they had a planning phase and if you wanted you could just let your guys do the work on the plan you laid out for them. It also looks like the Enemy of the State scene when they are chasing him through the hotel. This game is going to be so awesome, regardless of having car chases, which would also be really awesome. I think the controls interface is the real deal breaker.
If there were only two games to play in the world, I would choose a text editor and a good C compiler.

If you direct your attention to the blog posts, specifically those titled "It's all in your head," you may be able to find several videos that IV has posted.
