Postby ramma » Tue Apr 25, 2017 8:05 am

Are there plans for Linux/SteamOS?

Thanks!

Yes please! Thus far I've always bought every introversion game at launch but I haven't been able to justify it now that I can't actually, well, play it :)

If a Linux version is announced I'll happily buy now, play later though.

Did someone test it with wine, yet?

First Tests:
- wine does not work (Crash)
- VirtualBox + Win7 does not work (Error Messages, that the resolution does not work, even when reducing the VBox resolution to 1024x768 and choosing this on the starter)

And only the Demo Binaries are 32 Bit (like my windows vm)

Own tests: Starts in wine, however all dots painted by the LIDAR scanner are invisible. Furthermore the controls feel weird. (DRM free version)

I may if there's no official response soon. Haven't activated my key yet in hopes of it being able to be reported as a Linux purchase if support for it isn't far off.
