Lines by Australia?

This might be the worst question in this forum, But I have to ask, so forgive me.

What in the heck are those lines in the sea by Australia and New Zeland?
Is that Lost City of Atlantis, and if so can I nuke it?

They are the borders. Although I' definatelly sure the answer is in the FAQ. I'll go look for myself.

What are those wierd lines around Australia?

Those lines represent the borders of territories in Oceania. If you don't like them you can turn borders of from within the Options menu.
