Introversion

The Meta Server is owned and operated by Introversion if I am not mistaken. Would it be entirely possible to run an operate a Meta Server for a privet contractor? Or a single person for say me. Plane an simple change the owner of the Meta server or make/have your own Meta Server for Defcon.

Though the idea sounds grand, IV wont do it. They would like to keep the life of the game into their own hands. For example, if you took it over and paid for it, what is to say something like senators situation doesnt arise? It costs a lot more than just hosting normal data centers like what you do now. If you had full control, you could kill the game whenever you wanted. IV wont risk that. Plus, they still (although little) make money off defcon.
