New in upcoming version:

- Changed the way fire alarms will work. The new system will scan once for sprinklers in range and start to monitor them. If a sprinkler gets activated due to fire, the alarm will respond to it and start to evacuate. So no more fire checking by the alarms, since the sprinklers can already take care of that. Sprinklers will show an exclamation mark as long as there is no evacuation alarm placed in the area which scans it. That way you will know if certain sprinklers are monitored by an alarm or not. The way this new system works produces much less lag than having all the evac alarms scanning for fire, so a prison wide fire alarm system can be easily implemented.

- Since the sprites.png needs to be a little bit expanded for the sprinklers, I'll probably add a few nice guard panels as well. The new sprites.png gives me room for ten new utility panels which can be implemented. So I'm thinking about panels for guards/army/whatever with various types of guns.

Suggestions are welcome!

Version 1.26 is out in the wild! No added guard panels with more weapons though.. That shite is buggy as hell.

The tooltips on each item should help. But to keep it simple:

-Place a booth, place an evac panel and an All Staff panel nearby, they will be loaded by the workers.
-Place an evac alarm selective in the centre of your kitchen and set its range to about the width of the room.
-Wire the power switch from the booth to the alarm.
-Turn the power switch on and watch your cooks instantly rush out of the kitchen towards the booth.

or...
-Make an evacuation area and place a booth in the centre
-Put an evac panel and an All Prisoners panel nearby
-Put a few evac alarm selective around in the prison (not too many) and set range to about 25m with the button
-Wire the booth switch to all the alarms and pull the switch.

etc...

To easily turn the power switch, you don't need to select it first. You can simply rightclick on the red/green light to turn it on/off.

You can go as nuts as you wish, putting one power switch somewhere and wire it to several booth switches to turn them all on at once. Havoc, especially with dog or guard panels.

Can I make the snitch sorter sort gang members to supermax somehow?

Also sort volatile/extremely volatile to supermax?

Sorting volatile is not possible, that info is stored in the Bio part of the prisoner, not reachable for mods.

Edit: hmm, that mod scripts each and every prisoner in the prison.
Perhaps I should make some sorting panels indeed, so there will be gang sorters besides the snitch sorter.
I see no need why every prisoner has to be scripted to deal with this. Rather have a booth doing that which can be shut off.
That would also give you a chance to change their level to something else again afterwards.

Why not have a gang sorter doing the opposite? The panels are there already anyway :)
V1.28 now provides a security level to gang sorter as well!

Wait does this put people into gangs or sort gangs to a different security level? ha ha

I wanted to keep my gangs in supermax away from the rest of the population so I could reform the ones who want to work.

It does both. The sorting method depends on the button.
