Definitely useful for blind nuking. It was good to discuss the features with you. There is still more you can add...

still need to cut the radar mod down to its basic self. (just the range of the radar) i'll download it, and play with it, i might even make some adjustments to it for personal taste :)

Sailmod must be the darkened 'land'. Can't remember all the file names, but a tweaked sailable? I.e., the darker 'water' around the coasts = no orders there. ? Oops, just noticed you have 'guides' for those 'oh so hard to get through' spaces (e.g. between Iceland and Greenland)

Ringmod; Look at L18 and L19. :P

The numbers inside each grid must be very helpful. I've tried using both regular Gridmod and Radarmod, but I couldn't stand either one. :P

Isn't bert's version much bigger? Isn't his version standard size explosion rings? Rofl's look very small.

Ah, ok. Well then Schub, if you notice he didn't say 'custom' ringmod. So that answers your question. :P

I think he may have modified Berts mod slightly, I can't remember for certain. Also some nice hidden features to assist blind nuking along the bottom of the screen too..

Rofl has chosen to obscure it, for his own reasons I guess. There are also hidden messages in some of the squares :D

1. Yes it uses the original Bert's ringmod, there wasn't much way to improve on that.
2. The #'s in the grid are very helpful indeed; and their use is explained in the next screen cap
3. Yes it's a tweaked sailable 8) . It is extremely helpful to know how close to coasts you can get with your ships, as well as to highlight various nooks:
- Bering (line was already here from radarmod)
- above Greenland
- above Canada
- Iceland / Denmark passage (i drew a nav line here)
- Gulf of Mexico
- France
- Mediterranean
- North Sea
- Madagascar
- India pockets
- 3 Indonesia Passages (i drew nav lines there too)
- Japan
- various Siberia Nooks

4. The radarmod is available by itself (google for 'defcon radarmod')
5. I also included some speed ratios as well as some interesting and relevant in-game distance measurements (check Antarctica)

ROFL, this is great, thank you. What are the grid refs used for?

What's the download link?
