Despite making (read: not really doing anything right now, can't be bothered to playtest and balance it) a mod based on it, I found the book to be nothing special. The first half is a decent story; the second half was basically Mr Orwell sounding off.

I hope that's not considered a spoiler.

It's supposed to transfer a meaning, not to be light entertainment...

Whatever. Great Mod. Well done! :)

PS: WOuld you like a little hand at that site of yours? ;)

Ordinarily I'd complain about the bump, but I happen to endorse this one. ;)

I know, I know, the book is one with a message, but I was disappointed because it started out as light entertainment! :P

The mod is hardly finished, although it's definitely playable in the state it is now. I'm vaguely toying with the idea of having two "rogue" states with either no land at all or very little land, but practically the whole ocean to place their naval units. Pirates, if you will, or maybe mercenaries. I just need to get round to actually doing it, it's not that difficult!

Oh, and my website is almost deliberately bad. Especially that awful colour scheme; I used to have a nicer one, but I got bored and picked some random hex values. One day, again (I'm a little bit of a procrastinator, you see), I'll code it up nicely and turn it into a *real* website. The thing is, it's mostly just a space to hold all of my files and stuff - not actually for people to visit and find something entertaining. But one day I'll make it nice for visitors! :)

I like the colour-scheme.

And yes this is a bump. Sowwy.
