Antialias not working

I'm running DEFCON on Windows 7 from steam, DEFCON used to have AA working fine but now it doesn't work with the option set up. For some reason AA only works if I hold down the J key. Since it's hard to nuke a country while holding down an awkward key on the keyboard, does anyone know how to fix this?
