No CD key?

I just bought the game from my Girlfriend's local Blockbusters, the Limited Edition Double Pack (with Uplink).

When I started it, I got taken to the CD key bit.

The game doesn't have a CD key. o_O
I went back and the guy said it should be on the CD itself as the manual's a PDF, but I can't find it anywhere.
Iunno what to do. =(

In my case the key was printed on the back side of my printed manual.
