CTD whenever I try to play the game.

I bought the game off Steam and installed it, runs fine up to the main menu - authenticated and everything. However, when I click either 'New Game', 'Join Game', 'Tutorial' or 'Rolling Demo', the game closes and the desktop shows. And when the game first came out I downloaded the demo and it worked fine, so my system can apparently run it.

A) Do you get a Windows error dialog when it crash? (If yes, please get a screenshot once you clicked the option to get more information about the crash)

B) Is there a blackbox.txt and debug.txt file generated in [Your Steam directory]\steamapps\common\defcon?

C) Have you added Defcon to your firewalls?

D) Have you tried the _latest_ standalone demo, do you have the same problems?

E) What is your Anti-Virus/Firewalls/Anti-spyware/Content Filtering softwares? (Try updating them)

F) Care to post a dxdiag?

1)'Start' windows button
2)'Run ...' or the search bar in Vista
3)Type 'dxdiag.exe' in the 'Open' textbox and press the 'Ok' button
4)Once the 'dxdiag.exe' dialog is up, click the 'Save All Information ...' button.
5)Choose a destination for the file (ie: your desktop) and a name for the file (ie: 'dxdiag_info.txt')
6)Post the content of the file here.
