Okay, here is what you need to do:
  1. Download the mod.
  2. Extract it. A new folder should be created.
  3. Open C:\Program Files\Defcon\ .
  4. Create a new folder there called Mods\ .
  5. Move the extracted folder into that folder.
  6. Start Defcon.
  7. From the main menu in Defcon, go to the mods menu.
  8. Select the mod from the list, and hit "Activate."

If that doesn't work, try this:
  1. Find all of the original packaging that your computer came in.
  2. Find the receipt showing when and where you purchased the computer.
  3. Return the computer to the merchant, and ask for a refund.
  4. If they ask why you are returning the computer, tell them that you are too damn stupid to use it.

Then follow xander's second set of instructions.

How far did you get? Can you move the folder? Can you extract an archive? Can you create a folder? Can you plug your screen in?
