How to navigate the Bering Strait without Radar Mod :p

Postby Blackbeard » Thu Jun 30, 2011 12:05 pm

I noticed in a "certain" game taht one of those nooby Bosses asked for tips on how to navigate the Bering Strait  , so here's how I do it without said Radar mod:

Image

it couldn't be simpler. Just locate that tiny white white mark (Atka Island I think :? ), and click your ship to go to that spot. Once there, click your ship on the end of that staright line (international border), and Bob's your Uncle...

...and coming from north to south is exactly the same, but you click on the end of the ... oh feck it, just wasted 20 minutes of my life I will never get back :x .

Ps. As you can see from the screenshots, I've actually got the Radar Mod installed, so then its just a case of clicking on that white line which cuts north to south through the map.

I thought that was funny too although getting two-fleets from N to S is incredibly annoying.

You mean two-ship fleets? Anyhow, it's the same with any size of fleet, though I did notice with the 6 ship fleet I had to click slightly above the International Border (see pic)

Also disabled the Radar Mod to make it clearer.

...and the 6-ship fleet sailing happily from the Arctic to the Pacific .
