Seen them, nice presentation (intro), the explainations are pretty detailed even though there were some spelling mistakes and some videos like "bomber wave" are missing sounds/music..You have some weird videos on that account too (hint Defcon fun?)

Hehe, you'd have to be there for that video to make sense. Also, I haven't yet come up with a set of best practices for making Defcon videos, so that's why the quality is so low. Once that happens I'll remake any that I have and they'll all be uniform with minimal mistakes.

Basic strategy but nicely done anyway.

Whats the problem with the quality? Fraps should work just fine

I might be able to help since i have some experience with video editing and suitable software.

When I say quality, I just mean it's not up to my own personal standard. I have Fraps and that's what I used but I wasn't concerned with the level of image quality, codec, or overall quality in any of those really. In short, I could have spent a bit more time making them more "polished" but didn't have time/didn't make time as I haven't settled on a uniform way of making them yet, not that they can't be better.

Also, the basics are what most players are lacking in, so this is for those that need to sharpen their basic skills and for the bot thread.

Well done Ace, I think this will work perfect for what martin would need them for. Plus any newcomer would most definitely benefit from it.

Hmm, that naval video has given me some thoughts. I probably need to totally rethink Joshuas naval strategy now :/

Just remember that in six player, your navy is just a large distraction to get your subs/bombers emptied of their nukes.

I tend to play smaller games, so I have no experience of that really :/

Basically, it goes like so:

6 Player: Big race for points, Silos and navy are sacrificed in order to be the first to score on the biggest cities. Normal rules don't apply.
Diplomacy: The players that are the most defensive tend to win.
1v1, 2v2, 3v3, (Team games) see videos above.
Speed Defcon, just like 6 Player.

Good idea!

Some other people put defcon videos on youtube, a long time ago. (Montyphy and Bert, I believe...) They show the bering strait, Iceland, circling bombers around airbases, and some of the bugs.(over-land, and extended launching over the seam.)

Don't worry, I know where those are and will add them to the first post when I get a free moment.

So, uploading the next video entitled "Maximizing Sub Strikes". Once it is complete (about ten percent at the moment) I'll post it. By far the best one I've done and I think I have a solid format now.

Also, I have to give credit to (MOR), I adapted my use of subs from watching him. :D

Subs Added, youtube compression sucks, probably should have not recorded in high resolution. Ah well.
