Couldn't agree more :D however i do think the exception to be when Africa v EU, much easier to use 2 subs to scout all the UK and all of Iceland.

Huh? You do mean carriers, don't you?? Or is there something about sub visibility/radar before defcon 3 that I'm missing out on?

I think he means if you're Europe, using you're (:P) own subs to scout your own territory. Right?
