Soo, it's not an option on purpose? Is it going to stay empty or filled with a CPU, a newb, or a sneaky backstabber? I'd probably pick Africa in either case, for the amply know reason that you can hit practically everyone else from there. All American Mobster wrote:Asias, the one underneath Russia and to the right of Africa
If Feud has Russia and Asia goes to a CPU or newb, then taking Europe and using his Suisilos against him would also be a tempting option. EU Suisilos beat Russian Bombers to Cairo by some seconds even if the bombers are timed perfectly, Russia has to compete with NA and SA about Tokyo, plus Asia's cities are mostly on the coast where NA's and SA's fleets can reach them better than Russia's bombers from the North. As Russia, you can't have both easy access to Europe and Asia. NA would be dust long before Russia's navy arrives, if not by my hand, then by SA's.

depends on the game mode, for diplomacy or any survivor scored game with more than 6 players. then sa, as it is so far from everyone else, it is easier to defend. In 6 player default/genocide, then Africa for the same reason that bert said, for 1v1 depends on who I am facing and what territory they are using

From a strategic standpoint I would choose Africa for the sole purpose that everyone has already said, location. Its harder than hell to defend if you are playing 6 player, but at the same time if you can ally with the European Territory player it is almost impossible to lose. But that is just my opinion.

but it isn't really much good, you are so far from everyone else that silo nukes need almost perfect timing, and you are vulnerable from 2 sides as far as subs are concerned. However, with very good allies, you might come 2nd or 3rd

That's what makes it fun, the harder the better, although I disagree with everyone that says one territory is 'better' than another. I think the consensus among better players is "All territories are the same (with different advantages/disadvantages) but not all players all, thus Player A with Territory A may do better than Player A with Territory B-F". In short, as said many times before a territory is only as good as the player is.
