Chose a southern territory

Why? Because nukes going east/west always go via the north, so whichever territory is above you will shoot down all nukes aimed at you assuming they have a couple of silos in defensive mode, leaving you free to launch from all silos at the same time.

Your missiles will hit the same air defense silos, though, so it's both a blessing and a curse. For instance, Africa's protected by European anti-air because all continents' missiles go into european range (maybe not south american silos if placed way south). However, unless you leave your north open to europe's missiles, your own silos won't be able to go across Europe either.
