I have a LAN mission to do in which i have to trace a recent hacker that hacked into their systems.  I have got all of the required software at the highest level.  I see where the Mainframe computer is and there is a blue line going into it and i manage to get the screen on the right up saying that it is the central mainframe and i try to push connect and nothing happens? Please help

This would fit better on Hints and Tips.

I'm suprised no one has flamed you yet. I'm a little more patient than most other members here, so I'll still answer your question.

If you have already worked your way through the LAN, and just need to connect to the Main Server, then all you have to do is:

  • Click on the Main Server
  • Click the "Connect" button on the LAN View
  • Quickly hack in before the admin boots you off

From there, do whatever the mission requires you to do.

By the way, welcome to the forums, enjoy your stay. :)
