hey, i hacked a bank and got myself $1M, but by the time i had prepared myself to do it, done it, and loaded myself with high-tech equipment, stuff had already happened with storyline stuff, but i wasn't involved.
so a bunch of stuff has already happened, it's too late to get into the storyline.

is there a way to completely reset all time event stuff (what happens in the news)?

if so, i would infinitely appreciate it...

thankee

I don't think so.  I played around with that a while ago and never got anything to work.  Now that I have the DevCD I may try and have a go at again at some point, though.  :)

You can't really reset it as you would like. Though with the DevCD we could just make a patch the pushes back the start of the storyline a month in game time. That should give you enough time to get loads of money, all the systems, get a good rating etc.

You should in theory be able to alter the .usr file in such a way as to turn back the clock, but I have not looked through the code to see exactly what that would entail.  :)

that's exactly what i was thinking.....and not just set back the clock, but reset everything that has happened at all, leaving you at the beginning of the game, nothing done, with the same equipment and ranking.

should to could be done.  or something.
check it out, man.....if you can do somethin, let me know...
thanks

It takes about 5-10 minutes to get enough equipment to do a bank hack.

Yeah. The bypass equipment and log deleter costs about 59,000 credits in total. That takes a long time to make.
