Beware, do not read on if you have not successfully unloocked book 2 of the Gamebible.
My question concerns *that* file. I have now finished book 2 (with the help of this fine forum) and it was quite a challenge. But it is done now, and I would like to know if *****.dat has any other purpose in the game. If so, how did IV manage to make it serve such a significant triple-purpose? If it does serve a purpose to the game's function, it is not only a game file, but 15 minutes of encrypted bizarre music (music nonetheless) and an important file for book 2.
