"Other" source for finding Uplink; Half-Life coinc

I noticed it wasn't actually on the survey, even tho it's a pretty big source of gaming downloads: I found out about, and downloaded Uplink from, CNet's download.com . Not really much to discuss.

I also noticed on the Uplink: latest news page, there's that thing about "Uplink" being all over DOOM 3. Um, this may or may not be news to whoever posted that news bit (sorta hope not really), but there's also "Half Life: Uplink", which for better or worse is much more popular than this beloved game here. I'd prefer the reference to be about this game of course, so I hope I'm wrong....maybe it's not even a reference to either game...

now cnet doesn't provide full download they only provide Demo from some uplink mirror, and that's why uplink not discuss to much cause that only demo to discuss

Yeah, he means the demo. CNet would never host the full game.

HL: Uplink was a semi-decent expansion pack and nothing whatsoever to do with HL (Edit: err.. I mean Uplink. Obviously it has something to do with HL :/). Valve would have never heard of IV. Nor should they have reason to.
