LS next to dir

Uplink is made for both Windows and LInux users (and ported to mac, but I'll just put both under the label linux in this case)
Windows users might be used to dir, but as a linux user I always make the mistake to type ls instead of dir.
Is it a good idea to add the rm, ls, ./ next to del dir and run?
If I can get enough money (I'm kinda broke) for the developers CD I might just try it myself, but I think more linux, mac and simply unix users would like it.
