it would be a very useful thing that you could move the links in your gateway up and down so that you can have uplink and/or internic conections at the beggining of it, that way you don't have to go all the way down looking for internic to quickly erase the logs

Surely it's not that hard to remember Internic's location on the map.

Anyway it's bad practice not to use multi-bounces, even if you know you wont be traced. It may just be me being paranoid but I wouldn't want to risk getting caught because I forget to mutli-bounce. Only takes the one time for you not to pay attention and make a direct connection to a system
