i think it would be cool to have uplink be a MMORPG, think about it, it start with you having a "gateway" other people in the game can hack your gateway, but what would they take? people could work to gether and create a company, or make a LAN, i think it has some good potential, and if your a main frame admin people could use the game to call you and try to run a voice analyzer to get into your mainframe so you become even more suspicious, in real life, HAHAHAHA, of course it would end up being a glorified text adventure so it might be hard to get people to pay for it

Essentially everything that could be said for Uplink 2, Uplink Online etc has for all intents and purposes already been discussed to death at this stage. Uplink has been around over 2 years, and we have already said multiple times how much we would like U2 or UO. And we were told by Introversion themselves, and Chris, that it is highly unlikely it will ever happen.

Case dismissed, pack away your stuff and go home. Capiche?

While waiting for Uplink2 (for another 5 years) play some other hacking sims like Blue Sky, or BS Hacker Replay, Digital Evil ect...

Why not go and play a wargame like the infamous TRY2HACK http://www.try2hack.nl Its a bit amatur but just something to do to pass the time you what i mean?

Or hackthissite.org <---- Its has some good relistic missions

Or many you could get together with some programmers and spend countless hours on manking you own UPLINK2...

Another thing, When it comes to asking introversion for an Uplink Online or Uplink2 its takes lots and lots and lots of time programming, debugging and you need the one thing that makes the world go round...MONEY, not saying the group doesnt have it but for publishing, making the the CD copies, resgistering trademarks, setting up servers and writing code on them, shipment around the UK and arcoss the Atlanic to the US (I live), making the demo for (windows,linux,Mac) and updating sites like this. SO you see its alot more than the original Uplink that took i think 2 or 3 years to make and 90,000+ lines of code to write.

Just dont expect it any time soon...
