I am not sure if this has been sugested already, but my idea is the ability to map a program (ie. copy or gateway nuke) to a key (possibly the F keys)? Maybe you could restrict it to non-story arc programs (eg, everything except faith and revelation)? just my 2c. I was doing a DB copy mission with about 15 files, and thought "wow, it is a real pain clicking on the app button and then slecting copy... all the time"

Something like that would be tough. Imagine coding within coding. Just the addition of tools like that would be okay. Just make them expensive so it's not a cheat.
Maniak hacks like crazy!

I had another idea... Cut and paste! I am sure that this has been sugested as well, but it would be a nice feature. Especially if there was an in-game scratch (note) pad that you could use. Something like that would be great! (Again I am sure that it has already been suggested, but I can dream)

You can use the in game email function as a not pad and just send it anywhere, it will auto send it back to you with the information you typed in it. As for the key mapping, I'll have a look at the devcd and get back to you on it, and for the select and copy everything at once....nice idea.....I'll see what I can do.

A few things i would to see:
1. That you don't need to hover the mouse point over a text area.
2. Scroll bars for the map if you enlarge it
3. A better inbox. Instead of a list of messages at the bottom, a display that says the number of messages in your box (read and unread) and when clicked (like one of the mods i downloaded, can't remember its name now) have a list of message.
4. Enable you to save mutible 'hop-maps' (for lack at a better name) and to be able to save them permanetly on the hard drive.
5. How about not displaying or filling in the password when you initialy start up the game and when you connect to uplink. Think it will be fun
