The Game On My CD isn't Current enough to work with Debian.

I was about to install Uplink on a new box I just setup as a nice time killer.. But, the installer available in the very old CD I have doesn't have a shell script that will currently work with my flavor.. But, I can get the Old CD version under the Windows version to work in Wine, but, there are sound issues and a litany of reasons why I'd prefer to run the game natively.
So I attempted to install the game Demo found on the website, I used the NIXinstaller & it went swimmingly! So I was wondering if their is a NIXInstaller version for the full game available?
