Proxy/Firewalls

Hi again .

I just went in to a site with mods, and i found a walkthrough to Uplink .

He says , that all servers got a Proxy thing .

And then i can press a buttom that shows Connection Analyser

And there's a PC that's called Localhost = me .

On the picture in the walkthrough , he have placed 2 things on the lines between Local host , and the server he is hacking in to .

There is just a problem for me .
The button on the Proxy disabler on the picture is green = activated.
And the button on mine is red = not activated .

What do i do :/ ?

If you don't have a high enough version of the disabler or bypasser, then it won't be successful - i.e. if it has proxy level 2, and you only have bypass version 1, it will fail. You can check what version it has using IP Probe. Also, if you're using the bypasser, you have to place it on top of the box representing the monitor/proxy/firewall respectively within the Connection Analyser in order for it to work.
If you do have the Connection Analyser, then you probably want to go for the bypasser and not the disabler - the disabler is immediately picked up by the admin, while the bypasser is not.
