I had some strange prolems with the motion sensor after stealong 80Gq on a LAN. After the mission the motion sensor changed color to red (Theres more than one person near your gateway). I made a backup of my save and blown up my gateway. Then I upgraded from the sucking start-gateway to "The TRINITY-1686a Gateway". Then I innstalled a motion sensor.
When the motion sensor was mounted it was alredy showing red (Theres more than one person near your gateway). I used the "Fast Forward 2" button and let it go. I let it go for 2 months, and it didn't change. Then I loaded the save I backed up and checked the logs at InterNIC. No logs. Then I used the "Fast Forward 2" and got "caught".
Then I loaded from my backup agin and blown up my gateway, re-innstalled the stuff and blew it up agin. I think I had to blow it up 2 - 4 times total before the motion sensor turned to normal.
I don't know why I had to blow up my gateway so many times, but I at least, good thing I have money enough to order a new one.

Not quite. Uplink actually keeps track of how many are near your Gateway. If only one, it will be yellow. If more than one, it will be red. When the Feds come a-knockin, they come in groups. But if you've got multiple hardwares being installed it will also show red.kofrad wrote:maybe the motion sensor didnt sense them leaving? i thought that when its yellow is when someone is installing hardware, and that red meant feds.
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.
