USR file editing

When I un-redshirted my .usr file, all I got were a few site names in a sea of junk, does anyone know where i can find an application for editing .usr files, or at least a guide to doing so? Thanks!

what you going to do with that .usr files?hack it? if you want some money from hacking .usr files why not you hack bank in the game it's more fun

... besides there is a little chance of getting caught when making a mistake while hacking a bank.

Maybe he doesn't want to spend time
1. hacking a bank and transferring some money
2. buying new stuff on Uplink IS
3. waiting for the hardware upgrades being installed because not knowing about fast forwarding


Anyway there would be a chance, too that he could make a mistake editing the .usr-file and blow it into pieces ...

I do make backup copies, you know.

Oh yeah, and I do know about fast forward, I'm just looking to see what I can do with servers, eg. being able to make an account at every bank, quick (for trace time).

Don't get angry about me supposing you don't know about fast forwarding - because some guys obviously do not!

But there is no need to change the .usr-file for getting another bank-account ...

Maybe there is. You can make an account and put a billion dollars in it to steal.

Then it would be easier to raise your own account directly instead of making a detour and putting the money in another account.

Besides this I think it's half the fun when you cheat like this. Your choice.
